Tomorrow's forecast high for Moscow Russia: 60 F

After today's utterly miserable rain/snow/hail mix, the forecast for tomorrow in Seattle: 50 F and rain.

Somebody fix this!

It was hailing in Renton this afternoon. I was working in the garden until I became too disgusted with the cold and rain. I'm ready for a little sunshine.

You really should be thankful for what you have. Last week in GEORGIA (Atlanta area for us), we had low 30s and snow at the beginning of the week and 50s and thunderstorms/TORNADOES at the end of the week with power outages. It was common to have 200 strikes of lightening within a 15 minute period - many of which were cloud to ground. Staying in a "storm shelter" for hours while we had tornado warnings! The grass is not always greener on the other side :-)

Just be happy that for 6 months out of the year you aren't worried about running from Hurricanes.

The wind blows here at around 20-30mph on almost a daily bases, with thunderstorms every other day! Louisianan weather is just plain crazy!!!

I can't wait to get to Washington and away from the crazy weather I have to deal with here,I would much rather have it cold and drizzle than 100 degrees everyday from May until November.

Why the comparison with Russia? Don't they deserve 60 degree days too?

I would be absolutely happy with Seattle weather if more houses actually had central air! I've found all of one house so far in my house hunting that had it, and none of the new construction does. Sure, there is no sustained or super muggy high temp heat, but let me tell you, those 2 or 3 weeks last August I could not have survived in my apartment without buying a portable air conditioner! Someone please tell me what was a big fluke like the snowstorm in December?!

I used to complain a ton when I lived in WA....and now all I want is to move back where it actually does rain! Never thought I would say that!! Although I'll probably complain a ton when/if we do move back about where is the sunshine.
