Doesnt matter what kinds but I need a store with lots of vinyl. I'll be up there this summer for a week and want to do some crate digging.

There's this one place in West Seattle whose name I forget at the moment .... they had vinyl there. Some old school there too, it was funny to see some of that stuff still around. It's close to the cupcake place (man I'm terrible with names now ...).

I think in the University District there's an old CD store which also has vinyl, on University Way.

it's Easy Street Records in West Seattle, in the Alaska Junction area, on California Avenue near the intersection of SW Alaska Street. I think the cupcake place is across the street. Cupcake Royale?

There's a place called Golden Oldies Records and Tapes at 201 Northeast 45th Street, Seattle, WA 98105-6131 (206) 547-2260. I've only driven past it, though.

V. =)

How about the Museum of History and Industry? I think they have the records next to the 8-tracks and cassettes.

They say that vinyl has made a bit of a comeback, that the sound quality can't be surpassed. Me, I don't have enough of an ear to really know the difference. I'm waiting for the rotary phone to make a comeback.

Easy Street Records blew me away. Such an awesome record store. I can only speak for the one in Queen Anne though.

Dude I'm only 26 but I can appreciate vinyl. Sounds like you have alot to learn about music. Spinning a vinyl house set gets the old school crowds amped. Not to mention all the great jazz sample I snag from records. Get a clue chief.
