I found a list of one person's youtube videos that should be of interest.
Great list, HiW!
Has several of my favorites on it! IMO, no list would be complete without Engineer775, who admittedly puts out semi-technical stuff, BUT if you think that water systems, water storage/heating, and alternative electrical systems are important, his stuff is very interesting. He speaks on my level of technical proficiency, and that is mostly what I like about him. I had to figure all that stuff out for myself, and he shows me how to improve it.
Channels like Wranglerstar are very entertaining, but I find them to be of limited use in my own situation. I guess I have very specific informational needs. Right now, guns and gold are on the back burner. Foremost to me is poultry health, developing a spring, and I'm very interested in Technician 775's ideas of storing rice and cereal grains in glass canning jars, using just O2 absorbers. Fascinating stuff.
I'm not interested in the gun channels,my armoury is sorted and there is more to survival than how many guns someone has. i'm more interested in medical(PatriotNurse) at the moment.

I could never figure out a good way to store oxygen absorbers once I opened the package. I use nitrogen to displace the oxygen. I do like the idea of small glass jars. In fact, that's how I store my grain for sprouting now. I use small jars that I have on hand. A few ounces lasts a good while.
I know that you don't drink. However, for those who do, a tank of nitrogen will keep wines drinkable for several days, fortified wines for up to six months. I use enough dry vermouth in cooking not to be worried about souring, but it can be a problem for me with sherry, port, and a few others.
You can also put dry ice intoo the grain container. After it evaporates close the container.
Never forget guns and gold. They'll not only keep you alive, they're great investments. If I hadn't collected coins and guns, I probably wouldn't have become a survivalist.
Here's a youtube video series on great gun investments. That reminds me; I couldn't find anything on using gas to preserve grain and wine. I'll post one other as well. He sells survival stuff as well as coffee. He also has some excellent ideas.
The third video is for entertainment, but you'll see some nice work with a balisong. This particular video is a great cure for insomnis as well. He looks as if he just got out of jail.

Here's Technician 775's 'starter' video, where he shows the mason jars, his Foodsaver machine with regular and wide-mouth vacuum adaptors, hose, and how he stores dry goods with just a vacuum seal on the jar lids. The second video is how he stores dry goods with O2 absorbers that he gets from LDS canneries online; he does not use the vacuum with these; the O2 absorbers gradually create a vacuum and the lids "pop":
He keeps his opened O2 absorbers in a mason jar, which he seals with the Foodsaver. That keeps 'em good. This guy's from Louisiana and very experienced prepper. I'm going to order the LDS O2 absorbers.

Agreed! But I have those pretty much in order...don't wish to become too one-sided!

You guys are so weird lol. Living your short life in fear of something you don't know anything about.
Hopefully you guys aren't reproducing and raising more paranoid psychopaths.
Yeah really. When the Tsunami rolls in or Mt. Rainier lets go or some terrorist explodes something nasty in the Sound, or an earthquake levels Seattle then we'll have a chance and you probably won't. Good luck grasshopper..
maine prepper is history. Check out grierwolf, primitivesurvival, ThePatriotNurse.
