Im gettinge tired of both as you can tell by my earlier post. Im tired of Craigslist having shoppers that are not serious and im tired of Ebay and their damn fees and pretty much no seller protection.
What is some of your experiences with either one. Im still using both but wish there were a good competitor to ebay.
I have not tried Amazon....can I sell used baby clothes on Amazone? Im not sure how it works.
I have bought plenty on stuff from Amazon though and know that they sell used stuff too.
I don't bother with Craigslist. Too much effort to deal with "potential" buyers.
I like eBay for their low fees and great reach.
I feel like the fees are high. Maybe Im just irretated because I relisted the same items I tried to sell on craigs list earlier and only sold 2 for the starting bid price ....$2.99! I was told to start with a low bid price so I did. And that's what it sold for. But it's my own fault. Im selling Christmas outfits for a 0-6 month baby. Gymboree brand, 2-4 pieces and I know they retail around 50-60 dollars. But this is not the season for it. I was hoping to get at least 10 bucks but no. And then the e bay fee and paypal.

You cannot sell used baby clothes on Amazon. One of the reasons I don't use Amazon is because of their limitations on what you can sell.

It's the cheapest in terms of auctions that I've seen. What are the fees at your local auction houses? My average sale price is $680. The local auction houses charge 25-40% in listing fees and have done so as far back as I remember. When eBay came around it was a godsend with their low fees and impressive reach.
Baby clothes are plentiful, so I don't see them going for much used.
I went to a place callled Once upon a Baby and they buy used baby clothes and items. You get 30% of what they will sell the item for. I had this baby swing that retails for 70 something dollars and a baby snuggle nest. Both hardly used at all. They gave me 15 bucks. At that point I didn't care sense nobody would pay more on CR.
