I do, but then I’m married to a Salvadoreña. I like the breads, especially the sweet breads, because they aren’t THAT sweet. And bolillo rolls are fantastic for sandwiches, or I guess you’d say something more like Tortas, and are pretty friggin cheap. The cookies are aight, if anything I like that they often aren’t so entirely crispy and crunchy.
I wouldn’t say that I got out of my way to visit a panaderia, but when we’re at the local Hispanic market getting fajita marinada or something, we almost always hit up the breads at the front of the store.
We love to spend vacation time in Guanajuato, Mx...In most cases once there we stay at under half a block of a panaderia towards the end of the flat terrain in the city, by the Theater...We wake up before 6AM with the smell of fresh baked breads and goddies in our flat by Cantarranas and off I am to go get whatever I can get for my Crew for Breakfast.
