Hello all,

There are at least 3 movies beeing filmed in the Shreveport area currently. Does anyone have any info on set locations? And I am more intrested in 'Goodie 2 Shoes' & 'W'. Any info is appreciated.

I looked on Louisiana Movies Blog and couldn't get info on where they're filming. They are careful not to make their sets too public. I'm assuming much of the scenes from these movies are being filmed inside soundstages. There are currently 3 soundstages active in the city of Shreveport. If you're from Shreveport you might be familiar with these locations:

1. StageWorks
Downtown Shreveport, in the casino district. Directly across the Blvd from Sam's Town Casino

2. Stage West
West Shreveport, off I-20 near the town of Greenwood, and not far from the General Motors plant.

3. Mansfield Studios
Southwest Shreveport, across from a Wal-Mart Supercenter on Mansfield Road (Highway 171) near the southern city limits of Shreveport

Millennium Films just broke ground a few weeks ago on their studio development outside of downtown, but that won't be open for probably about a year... nothing being filmed there yet, obviously.

Around Shreveport, Bossier, and surrounding towns and cities, look for colored signs (yellow with black letters and an arrow or white with black letters and an arrow) pointing the way toward movie sets. Usually you can make out that movie they're associated with, and if I had to guess I would say "W" will probably just have a "W" on its signs. To be honest I rarely ever notice the signs anymore.

Also in the Shreveport Times (available online as well) they tell daily the streets or alleyways in the region where traffic will be affected by filming.

I hope I've been a little bit of a help. Having no connection to the industry, the above is just from my own observations.
