Young African American female relocating to Sioux Falls (hair salon, movie theaters)

Hello All,

I recently accepted a job offer for a position in the Souix Falls area. I know very little about Souix Falls, SD and would like to seek more information. Specifically, I'm looking the following information:

1)Any night life for young singles? If so, where?
2)Are there any diverse areas that have a variety of race and culture? If so, where?
3)What's the best place to live for someone young and single?
4)Are there any hair salons for African American or just women of color?

Sorry for the many questions. I'm very open minded and group up around diversity. I have always been the minority and is something I've gotten use to. Thanks so much in advance!

The night life is what you make of it. Plenty of nightclubs, comedy clubs, movie theaters, bowling. Alot of the churches have stuff for adult singles, young and old (google churches/sioux falls.. there's alot!)
Often stuff going on downtown, at the parks, at the arena. I've noticed more in the summer.
For hair care, I don't know of any right off hand. Contact Stewarts School or Black Hills Beauty School in Sioux Falls, they may do services or have good leads.
