This will be a Christian, non-denominational program with a military thyme. The Fallen Heroes Memorial Banners will be present along with some if the family members. These banners are a standing memorial to the twenty six members of our Armed Services from South Dakota that have been killed in action in Iraq and Afghanistan since September 11th, 2001. The banners were first presented at a dedication ceremony on August 8th in Pierre, inside the Capitol Rotunda.
Viewing of the Fallen Heroes Memorial Banners will be open to the public from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
