They are annoying when I was watching one of the earlier soccer matches today one of the commentators said that the vuvuzelas might be banned because sometimes the players cant hear each other.
I mute the tv during every match. It's just too annoying. I wonder how many people just change the channel and watch something else instead. I'm just glad I"m not in the stadium.

Did none of you people watch the USA run in the Confederations Cup? The vuvuzelas were out for those games too, and FIFA actually considered banning them for the World Cup but didn't because they wanted to protect the cultural experience.

I HATE that totally annoying sound!! But I watch the matches and don't mute it. We considered going to SA for the cup but now I'm glad we didn't. Not worth damaging my hearing.
