Like really, come on, seriously, no way.

Like despite both regions having those assets, Columbia still having the states highest GDP. What else does it need? Seriously I don't even know why bothering to bring data in a conversation on this site its like talking into an echo chamber, even though ironically enough its called "City-Data" (Go Figure), it should be called "City Feeling", ...in fact I think I'm gonna notify an Admin right now to change the name.

hmmm... we are catching up though, since 2009 we have gone up about 5k while columbia has gone up about 3k

Charleston's has gone up a little over 4 billion while Columbia's has gone up about 2 billion during that time. With Boeing's new investment and Richland County's game-changing penny sales tax improvements opening up 9,000 for new development just south of Columbia, it should be an interesting neck and neck, simultaneous affair. Columbia always somehow just keeps on keeping on.

Don't forget about all of the insurance companies expanding in Columbia also.
