Hi Everyone. My family is possibly relocating to the South Carolina area and we are looking at various areas (Charleston/Columbia area) but we are looking for more advice/opinions from those who are already have experience with the area. We have 3 small children (none in elementary school yet) so good schools are important to us, family oriented area, & community involvement. We also have a boat so we are looking for a waterfront property/community. We would like to keep the home price range under 350,000 if possible. We also may be interested in buying a lot/land and building as well. We are in our late twenties/early thirties. We like the idea of bigger lots/woods since we are from the Northern VA area - we are looking for a more relaxed and less traffic area! LOL! Does anyone have any advice on where we should start? or even what areas to avoid? Thanks!
