Nothin wrong with sharing your point of view. Here’s a quote from this thread: “ Wages are a bit lower than Oregon, but the jobs are much more plentiful” Then “We are not handing out jobs left and right”

That would be correct. Taking a look at SD Department of labor website; there are 408 job openings for Rapid City. Rapid City has a population of 69,000 and an unemployment rate of roughly 3% give or take.

With an assumtion of 69,000 workforce and 3% unemployment that would be equate to 2070 people looking for jobs. Not that the city has a workforce that large or the 408 are all the jobs available it gives an idea of the workforce in Rapid. In theory all the openings could be filled within the current population.
