we really got some flooding in spearfish and other places in western sd. due to heavy rainfalls. some areas were closed. some evacuations. spearfish creek high, swift and muddy. when the water goes down and clears up i will go see if i can find a little gold washed down from hills. wont get rich, but fun looking!
Haha! Cute Pejuta!
Many people in Rapid City have had flooded basements and severe hail damage from these recent storms. I can imagine it's much worse in the Northern Hills and especially around Belle Fourche -four rivers merge there!
Well, when it rains it pours. At least we aren't having wildfires in 105 degree heat like we were last year... but then again, we still have 3 more months of summer!!!
kdsj980 radio in deadwood announced this am not to go in water at belle fourche which had LOTS of flood damage, due to rattlesnakes being washed out of dens and floating down the waters. id love to see that.
one of roads near spearfish was closed temp due to rockslide. i think spearfish canyon rd. not sure. anyway they recently were blasting to stop rockslides. hmmmm????
