I am moving to Chamberlain, SD the beginning of December. Can someone point me in a direction of where I might rent a barn or land for 1 pony, some goats and my trailor until spring when we build? It does not have to be anything fancy, but I am coming from across the country and need something set up before we leave. Thanks for any suggestions.

Default Barn for rent

I am looking for possibly 2 stalls or whatever at this point. I am bring 12 goats and 1 pony. I have been transferred to Fort Thompson from Pennsylvania. We are going to buy land and build a barn once we get there. I have to be there at the beginning of December. If you can help or know anyone who may be able to I would appreciate it. I am already picking my kids up and moving them and don't want to have to sell my kids pets. Thanks for any help/suggestions. We are coming out there next week to look around.
Thanks, Diane

I will check around. I do know of a place you might be able to keep your goats and pony for a while but you may have to commute about 20 miles to care for them or have the people that live on the place to help you care for them. Land is hard to come by in that small of acres but is not out of the question. I have a good friend that deals in real estate that can help you find some land. If you buy a little more than 100 acres, you might have to buy a quarter,I may be willing to work with ya on that too as im looking to farm some ground myself. HAve you been here before? I have been born and raised here so I will try and help you out all I can.
