The Full Download for the Telescope is about 40 megabytes and is provided by Microsoft; free of charge!

They would have my head on a stick if I placed this onto this CPU at work.
But you best believe I'll get it on a home CPU upon procurement!!

While WWT is nice, it is too cluttered for my taste. Try Stellarium too. Free as well, but much easier to use and locate objects (although it doesn't have all the high-res imagery of WWT). Used extensively by amateur astronomers.

I'll check it out; I am not familar with this site. WWT can be a bit complicated, but when you get the hang of it; the possibilities are nearly limitless! Thanx....

Your definitely welcome ... and while i admit that astronomy is not my strong point in science as i'm more into the science of anti aging however i did enjoy the link with the interactive space tours etc. .

I'm glad another poster has checked the website and enjoys the telescope...remember besides the tours....you can "direct" each telescope or combine them into composite images...... PS...I enjoy the 3D solar system mode...you can rotate Jupiter, Saturn etc. in all directions..very cool following how Jupiters' weather systems change at different lattitudes...... PITTS.
