Nice city.....pretty cr*ppy weather for about 5 months out of the year.

On a scale of 1-10 I would rate the trashosity factor overall at about a 6....of course it varies all over town. Seems like everybody smokes here.

Downtown area is really impresive to me. The city went to a lot of effort to preserve a old/small town feel.

Quite a few bums roaming the downtown area.........3rd and 4th avenue through town are pretty trashy with quite a few lowlifes hanging about.

True. I don't think I met many people who don't.

Also, EVERYBODY has at least 5 tattoos on them of varying size and uglyness. I don't think I've met ONE local (non-immigrant) without a tattoo.

There are no nice clothes shops, btw. You will be buying all your clothes in JCPenney or Macy, that's the nicest you can get, I'm afraid. There might be some nicer boutiques in downtown mall, but I find it hard to navigate between all the punks and bums, so I just avoid it.

Ad I get older it seems like I cannot tolerate putting up with THAT filthy habit anymore.....breathing it, smelling it....seeing the filth all over the ground. Too Bad the smoking rate it Spokanadelphia is probably a lot higher than the national average.

As for Clothes.......uck, i could not care less. Buy almost all of my clothes either used or as cheap as possible at Walmart or similar.
