I bowl. I started about April, and try to go about once a week. I don't take it too seriously as some folk, but I can break 200 about 50% of the time now. It's fun, and I'm even trying a little bit of two-handed bowling.

We have a winner! I mean, we have a bowler!!
Gonna call you "the natural". If you've only been bowling since April and can bowl over 200 50% of the time, I'd say you've got some serious skills and potential going on there!
Yeah, it's fun alright, but I'm not exactly sure about the two handed bowling thing though!
Although, if I'm reading you right about it, there actually is an established professional that has won tournaments and uses both hands to deliver the ball!
Way way back in Junior High and High School I bowled in a league. By the end of High School (about 10 years ago) I had an average of about 163. Nowdays, I only bowl occasionally, but can still carry about 170 average. Personal high game is 253, which was early this year.

For the casual bowler, to carry about 170, and to hit a 253, that's pretty good!
Most of my bowling was as a teen, so long ago! Had a few trophies and all, but then just quit. My bowling for the past 6 years or so was limited to only 3 games per year, when I'd visit my pappy in AZ. And I'd usually roll a 200+ in one of those games. Now I'm getting the bug back, got a ball, bag and shoes ordered, ready for next week.

break 200 50% of the time and you just started? If you arent exageratting your numbers you might want to keep rolling those games. There is a chance you can go down as the Michael Jordan of bowling.
As far as the OP, I bowl maybe twice a year, game drives me nuts. I am lucky if I break 130. Wii bowling on the other hand....

Or, Kobie Bryant, since those are my two favorites!
Well, just twice a year? Heck, with some basic instructions, your own properly drilled ball, and more practice, you could no doubt break, what, maybe 135?
Seriously though, the game no doubt would be less frustrating for you with more practice.
And, or, you could obtain the ball that has been described as "a ball on steriods"!!
I like bowling, though I don't go that often. I suck at it (average about a 130) but I go for fun with the kids or with some friends to have a good time together.
