I hope Lee can end his career strong and doesn't pull a Halladay on his way out. He's been a real joy to watch pitch. I was at the game when he hit his first HR, too
My favorite ballplayer was the incomparable Willie Mays----clearly my choice as the best centerfielder mlb has ever had.
Moving to Wisconsin in 1955-----my favorite nfl player was Bart Starr------he worked very hard to make himself become an excellent qb, and was a great gentleman.
Also ranking high was Eddie Matthews----a fan favorite in Milwaukee he is truly a hall of famer.
