Brisbane International final now:

Federer vs Raonic

Raonic knocked over Nishikori (all 3 sets went to tiebreaks), whereas Fed demolished his namesake (Baby Fed - Dimitrov) in under an hour.
Womens final tonight (local time) features the 2 glamours - Sharapova vs Ivanovic, in what could be a replay of the 2008 AO womens final - which was called the Glam Slam!

That's kinda racist. You don't think Serena and Venus are glams?

How is that racist :spit: Serena is not attractive -- actually ugly. Venus oozes class...but not "glam."
Both the men and women's sides are really interesting this year, can't wait!

Women (we'll no more at Sydney)
Maria -- playing excellent (probably favorite)
Halep -- also playing well, winning Shenzen (although against lower ranked players)
Ana -- didn't play well until the Brisbane final, but she is extremely motivated this year and has learned to fight, and win when not playing well
Kvitova -- will she start being more consistent?
Serena -- doesn't look too good her form, but is that lack of motivation since she played Hopman (an exho)
Vika -- UNSEEDED. Could easily draw a top seed 1st or 2nd round. That would be a treat
Bouchard -- beat Serena at Hopman, but still, form doesn't look too good.
Safarova -- career best season last year, and is still playing extremely well
Makarova -- always plays well at the AO
Radwanska -- beat Serena, Navratilova new coach!
Wozniacki -- played extremely well end of last year...will she continue to play great?
Venus -- just beat Woz at Auckland and is in fine form

Men
Federer -- playing well, won Brisbane
Nadal -- just came back from injury--how will he fare at AO?
Djokovic -- upset in Doha but still favorite for AO
Murray -- what has Mauresmo added to his game during the off season?
Wawrinka -- won Chennai, how will his mental game be as defending champ?
Nishikori -- can he continue his great results?
Dimitrov -- seems to have stagnated--actually worsened-- under Rasheed.
Raonic -- hate his game, but great work ethic, pushing Federer at Brisbane.

Why is Dimitrov even on that list?

On the down side, Tsonga and the last Grand Slam Champ are both out.

Because I can't wait to see him get destroyed
It will be interesting to see who does it though

Last Grand Slam Champ aka the Doper?

Winning return for Delpo in Sydney:

Juan Martin Del Potro Off To Strong Start in Sydney - Tennis - ATP World Tour

Despite this victory, can't really expect a lot at the AO from a guy who hasn't played for 11 months.

AO Draw is now on the official website:

Home - Australian Open Tennis Championships 2015 - The Grand Slam of Asia/Pacific - Official Site by IBM

Tough draw for Federer, a Murray QF and Nadal SF.
Nadal has a relatively easy draw, Berdych in his quarter.
Djoker's draw not bad either, Raonic in QF.
Wawrinka is drawn to meet Nishikori in QF.

The only important ones missing is Tsonga and Del Potro.

Del Potro-Janowicz round 1, looks interesting.

Serena's quarter is amazing:
Vika-Stephens R1, Wozniacki-Townsend R1, potential Vika-Wozniacki R2, potential Serena-Zvonereva R2, potential Serena-Muguruza R3, potential Serena-Cornet R4

Not going to happen now, the clash of the big hitters, Delpo has pulled out:

Interesting listening to Roger Rasheed's comments on this article as well.
