I'm pleased to see Murray in the final after his lame year last year.
I have not seen Djokovic play at all because it's tough for me to watch any matches from the US during the week, so I have no idea how his match with Wawrinka will go. Wawrinka is the only guy who can challenge him in Australia though.
Hardly lame. He got to at least the quarters of every Slam and the Davis Cup and won 3 tour titles. And he had back surgery. Below par? Certainly. Lame? I don't think so. But yeah compared to the amazing year he had before it was a big dip. But he seems to be back to his best in my opinion.

It was a lame year for him considering how great he can be at his best. You don't need to defend Murray to me, I've always been a fan of his, and his subpar year last year wasn't really his faut IMO. I'd love for him to win this.
Let's be honest, it's all about the winner of the Djokovic vs. Wawrinka match.
Let's be honest, Andy Murray has played great in the Australian Open so far.
I think Murray takes out Wawrinka if they play, and would actually give the edge to Murray against Djokovic right now if they play (though I'll be rooting for the Djoker). If Djokovic does advance to the final, it will be the fifth Djokovic/Murray Grand Slam final (both have won 2 of their previous 4 GS final meetings) and third Australian Open final meeting (Djokovic won both previous championship matches).
For whatever it is worth, Andy Murray will move back up to #4 in the world even if he loses in the final, and will climb to #3 (passing Rafael Nadal) if he wins the title. Also, if Wawrinka loses to Djokovic in the semifinals, by my calculations he'll fall from #4 to #9 in the world (falling behind Murray, Nishikori, Raonic, Berdych, and Cilic). Based on my calculations, Wawrinka would drop from #4 to #8 if he loses in the final (behind everyone listed above except Cilic), and fall from #4 to #5 (behind Murray) even if he defends his title.
I think the men's final will be interesting, the women's final will be a dud.
Hopefully Women's final will be competitive, and rooting for a Sharapova win.
Unfortunately she has a poor h2h and mental block against this absolute brute of a player that is Serena.

Not so sure, Murray definitely is in with a shot.
Hoping for a Novak victory tonight local time,, but he needs to bring his A game to beat Stan in Melbourne. Stan can outhit any opponent on his day, so Novak needs a good strategy and execution plan - like he did against Raonic.
