I plan on moving to MO net year and am researching verious places. Have lived in Hollister, but need more services than what's available there. Now looking at the Nixa/Ozark area. A friend will be moving to the area, too. Between us, we have 4 dogs and 8 cats. Can anyone comment on the quality of veterinary care available and vet emergency services?

Do not use Gentle Care near the SuperWalmart. They nearly killed our dog. They misdiagnosed our dog and our cat.

Bradford Park in South Springfield across from Cox South Hospital is actually a very, very good vet office. After we went through the medical problems caused by the Nixa vet, this office kept our animals alive.

I HIGHLY suggest Divine Vet Clinic in Ozark, MO.

We live in Nixa and commute because of the wonderful care he gives our dog. You can really tell he cares about the animals. We use them for boarding as well as they do a great job of that.

Welcome to Divine Veterinary Clinic

I would suggest Dr. Denise Roche at Deerfield Vet in Springfield and also Dr. Jaime Rudd at Hometown. Both are VERY nice and caring vets!!

Default Ozark Veterinary Clinic

We haven't had any emergencies but have had several kittens/cats and a puppy that have gotten their shots and were spayed/neutered at Ozark Veterinary Clinic. The people there are friendly and helpful. We get right in for our appointments and their prices are comparable to others. We see no need to shop around so I feel comfortable referring them.

Hi mskittyx3,
My wife and I have to rescue dogs and we live in Nixa. We take them to the James River Animal Hospital and we are both pleased with the way that they treat us and our dogs. Here is their info:
1870 North Deffer Drive
Nixa, MO 65714-8438
(417) 725-1997
If I can provide you any information please contact me.
Ashley
