Which internet and cable companies should I use? I'm moving. Advice needed. Thanks!

Charter, like any St. Louis-based company, blows ass. Use DirectTV.

This would depend on your area and your building and what they allow. Charter has awesome and great cable tv. The on demand option are awesome. That being said Charter is known for their frustrating customer service. It's really hit or miss. I hear good things about direct tv, dish network, and att uverse. Whichever you pick for tv, I would definately go with Charter for the internet.

If it's available in your area, the AT&T DSL (with no land line needed) has worked very well for me. If you have your cell with AT&T, they may also give you a discount. (They did me). I have their elite speed package, for $35/month.
