Anyone familiar with Babler Elementary? We are considering a house near there and some of the reviews online have me concerned. They say that it has a weird layout since its a former middle school. There were also numerous comments that the principal was ineffective and that there were lots of discipline problems. Does anyone know if these issues have been resolved? Any other info about Babler Elementary?

I'd also appreciate thoughts/feedback on the neighborhoods along 109 -- Westhampton Woods, Garden Valley Farms, etc. It seems like there are a lot of houses for sale in those neighborhoods.

So no one has any thoughts about this area? What about Wildwood in general?

I'm not familiar with that area specifically, but I'm not a huge fan of Wildwood in general. Don't get me wrong, it's very nice and the scenery is pretty, but it's very sprawly, nothing walkable, all chain stores and restaurants, and a really good trek out from the city. I guess it's a good place to raise a family though.

It's quite pretty out that way, I like the hills and the trees down that way, but it is quite a ways from an urban center. Babler Elem is in Rockwood schools- must feed into Lafayette HS? I had a boss in a previous job who lived right by Lafayette HS and he was quite wealthy, so I presume it is desirable on some level. All my friends who have kids in the Rockwood school district rave about the quality of teahcers, facilities, etc.
