Looking to rent an apartment in the city of St. Louis. Safety is the most important aspect. Prefer 2 bedrooms, off street parking, pet friendly (small dog) for under $900. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks! I figured it would be south city. I guess I need specific neighborhoods and even better, specific complexes if anyone has any suggestions.

i would suggest looking at the Demun area- it's walkable to Forest Park and very safe; there's a ton of condo's around S. Skinker/Rosebury/Northwood/ etc. I lived in that area for about a year and half- it's a very nice area; there's a couple of restaurants within walking distance; a coffee shop, laundry facility, and a schnucks off clayton. There's quite a few that are pet friendly- you'll just have to search around a bit. We lived at the Dorchester during our time there with 2 dogs- however the rent would be higher than $900 a month unless you get a roommate.
