I would think that St. Louis is a considerably superior Soccer city to Kansas City (as Kansas City is a superior American football city to St. Louis). I'm sure an STL MLS team would be a great success, whether it plays in STL City, County or Metro East.

this is based on what? aren't you afraid to pontificate like that? I keep hearing St. Louis is the soccer capital of america and I've yet to see why.
The Hill produced a few italian-immigrant players half a century ago and this seems to be St. Louis' claim to fame as far as soccer goes.
I don't see any evidence St. Louis would support an MLS team. I don't see people going to WPS games USL games and the KC match this past weekend had a turn out of 5200 in a 6000 seat venue.
Children player soccer all over the united states, it really isn't unique to St. Louis and I wish people would quit acting like it is.

I would not support it. I just never got into soccer, and can't stand watching it. But if it comes here, I do hope it is successful for the fans that do like it. I'm a hockey junky, but I know not everyone likes hockey either.
