I love Trader Joes, but the Clayton store is a snobitorium. The Chesterfield Store is a much nicer shopping experience, and only a few more miles down the road.

It's open again & has done nothing to alleviate traffic.

Today my friend joked that she wanted to move back to LA where the traffic is not as bad lol.

Today is the first day I have driven to UMSL in the morning. Traffic is significantly lighter than usual, no problems at all.

My commute from Dogtown to Creve Coeur went from 25 minutes down to 15 minutes TO work and about 30 minutes down to 22 minutes home. I'm loving it!

I've lived here for a year and a half and this is the first time I've been able to make the "regular" commute.

64 looks awesome!

Used to use it all of the time to drive from CWE to Brentwood, and man, it looks so much better now. I remember when first moving here ... wondering why a major highway in the middle of a city had a chain link fence running along side of it (think between Kings Highway and Hampton). However, now, it looks incredible. Makes the cityscape look so much better. Now if they could only do the same for Kings Highway to downtown.

drove it on day one, because of the previous shutdown, i had been doing 270S-44E into the city. This has added more "stop and go" driving, as i have to get off the highway at 6th street and go south a few miles to the brewery, but it knocked about 7 miles off the commute one way, and over the course of the year, that'll save some $$ in gas. Looks top notch also, can't wait till it warms up so i can take the motorcycle on it for long stretches at a time.

Shhh...I don't want MoDot to hear that. Let me enjoy my city location for a few years!
