Hello,

I am moving to St Louis in a few months to attend graduate school, and I've been trying to find a decently priced apartment near Wash U. Two properties that I'm interested in are Loop Lofts (loc: Skinker at Horton St. Louis MO US - Google Maps) and Roberts Place Lofts (loc: 800 Arlington St Louis mo US - Google Maps). The buildings look great, but my concern is the surrounding area for each. I've heard that living north of Delmar is a bit rough. Does anybody know how safe or unsafe these two locations are?

Thanks,
Brandon

apparently I'm not good at posting links. if anyone would like to googlemap the apartments, Loop Lofts is at the corner of Skinker and Horton, and Roberts Place Lofts is at 800 Arlington Ave.

The skinker Debaliever (skinky-D) neighborhoods are great. I would not hesitate to move there. You may also want to look at apts in the Central West End to the east and Demun to the west.

You should look at Wash U campus housing that is available to grad students. Here's the link:
Welcome to Quadrangle Housing

Then look under apartments.
