Hello,
I am moving to St Louis in a few months to attend graduate school, and I've been trying to find a decently priced apartment near Wash U. Two properties that I'm interested in are Loop Lofts (
loc: Skinker at Horton St. Louis MO US - Google Maps ) and Roberts Place Lofts (
loc: 800 Arlington St Louis mo US - Google Maps ). The buildings look great, but my concern is the surrounding area for each. I've heard that living north of Delmar is a bit rough. Does anybody know how safe or unsafe these two locations are?

The skinker Debaliever (skinky-D) neighborhoods are great. I would not hesitate to move there. You may also want to look at apts in the Central West End to the east and Demun to the west.
