Personally, I've been taking these vitamins for years with good results. Out of the blue, I came across this article (http://www.americanheart.org/presenter.jhtml?identifier=4452 - broken link)from the American Heart Association recommending NOT to take them until MORE research was done. This seemed awfully suspicious to me considering that Vitamins A & E have been well known Antioxidants for many years. I think Mike Adams quite accurrately sums up what's going on in this article called:
Yeap......usually 5,000 mg of Citric Acid and around 1,600 i.u. of Mixed Tocopherols and believe they have helped big time in my anti ageing and Free Radical/ROS regimin.....
Okay, I read it. And I will still take my Vitamins!
Good for you Roma. You are making a good choice. Mike Adams can get rather wordy, but he is not afraid to lay it out there and tell it as he sees it ( IMO he sees things very accurrately ). I appreciate his willingness to do that.
