Probably Manayunk for me in the city, and probably right in a swath from Phoenixville through Chester Springs, Downingtown (high Italian population), right into West Chester for the burbs.
Vintage, your post reminded me, but I wish you could get an invite to this wedding I have to go to in Auburn next month(Fiorenzo/Granato). I can imagine who will be attending. lol
Speaking of Auburn, if anyone is out that way, this is a pretty cool place to check out: Osteria Salina

Its weird for a guy to say this, but I love Italian weddings. And even Italian wedding soup. Enjoy the minestra maritata!
Newsweek article: Syracuse saves $1.1 million annually in healthcare costs because of soot trees divert from lungs of area residents:
Interesting article in Newsweek about the monetary benefits of trees. Syracuse, New York City, Philadelphia and Sacramento were among the cities highlighted in the story. http://www.newsweek.com/2014/05/09/m...es-249162.html
Wedding is later in June and it's at some chapel there, with the reception in like the Marcellus area I think? It's one of my cousins whose family lives around the corner from my house in Liverpool.

Ok, I was going to say.....That would have been freaky.
Yep, that's the one! Just checked the invite - the reception is in Marietta, not Marcellus. Kind of frustrating because the hotels she has blocked are in Auburn and the reception is a 20+ minute drive away. I'm probably just going to hit up some Syracuse friends to crash with them since that's only a little bit further of a drive and it'll be free

Very interesting and I wonder if this will be something other cities will use as an example of using trees within their urban planning?

Yeah, that is quite drive to the reception and having friends in the area to crash with is always a beautiful thing.
