Hello everyone!
This is Ikechukwu Okereke, and I have some news about some upcoming events on Syracuse University!
Today, at
5:00pm in
Room 114 of
Bird Library there will be
an informational session about the Initiative from Committee members, librarian Winn Wasson and University Ombuds Neal Powless. If you haven't submitted one yet, and would like to get more information about the initiative or flag design in general, I would recommend coming to our design workshops. There will be a brief discussion about what the Committee is looking for, basic vexillographic principles, and the chance to submit your design ideas. While this is primarily meant for SU students, faculty, and staff, it is open for the public to attend.
If you are unable to come today, you can always check our
website, for information and updates about the project. There is still a month left to submit a flag, as we will be closing submissions on
Friday, February 17th! Thank you so much for your time and support, and I can't wait to see your flag designs!
Sincerely,
Ikechukwu Okereke
