I was just thinking, but with the recent opening of the Yellow Brick Road Casino, the Wild Animal Park, Chittenango Falls State Park and Oz-Stravaganza in/near the village, as well as the Boxing Hall of Fame down the road in nearby Canastota, could Chittenango market itself as a tourist area? It seems like the potential is there, but I wonder if it would be worth it.
I know some people who live in Chittenango, and they all HATE the Yellow Brick Road. An all-slots casino doesnt exactly bring the most savory crowd to the area. Just my two cents - I don't think the Yellow Brick Road adds anything to the appeal (especially when you can go to Turning Stone for a full casino with entertainment options). This type of casino is more for locals with gambling issues.

I guess some that have gone there aren't that impressed with it either. So, I wonder how long it will last.

Is it called the Wild Animal Park? Didn't know there was anything with animals in the area. I'll have to check it out. The State Park is amazing, but I'm really into natures and photography.
