I don't understand why they had to kill it b/c it didn't hurt anybody. Couldn't they have relocated it to some wildlife sanctuary? That would scare the **** out of me if I came home and saw that thing in the house though.

I can't imagine having a dog door in FL, first the bugs, lizards, and now even gators! Crazy!!

Don't worry I have 2 dogs and never had a problem...btw the little dog loves to run after the lizards and trying to catch them...he succeeded once...but the lizard was smart to play death.

Nice. No gators around here, just coyotes. They tend to steer clear of my place anyway, probably because my dog is about twice as big as they are.

I have a doggie door on the lanai that leads out to my fenced yard, never had any uninvited guests come through it.
