I currently live in CT and noticed that the Master Bedrooms in Tampa are SOOO small. Don't people own King beds and night stands?

My current Master Bedroom is 16 x 18.

Does anyone know where I can find a rental with a large master bedroom. I don't care about bathroom or closet size.

I am looking for a 3 bdrm 2br near New Tampa. $1300 max

I would be interested in using a realtor.

Thank you very much in advance.

Where have you been looking?

Funny, I actually have a rental property available right now in Riverview that fits your criteria.

Probably found tenants already but I don't think this is too unusual. Maybe for under $1300/mo in New Tampa, though. Couldn't tell you.

I had a house built in 1990 and the master bedroom was HUGE.. I know several ppl who live in New Tampa and their master bedrooms were a nice size. There are houses out there that should meet your criteria.

Realtor.com and I noticed the room sizes were 13x12. That's Soo small.

I saw this post earlier and suspected you were surfing listings and not physically previewing properties. Do not expect accurate measurements on internet listings, particularly rentals. Even for the required input fields, there's no guarantee the rooms were even measured. Some list agents will measure and complete every little thing; others fudge the minimum requirements. The only way for you to know for sure is to see the properties in person and measure the rooms for yourself. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news!

I don't think that is a typical master bedroom in the Tampa area. As TampaKaren said...you really can't trust those room dimensions very far as people sometimes throw out a guess for those. Overall sq ftg is probably more accurate from my experiences.

I can tell you my agent was very thorough in measuring everything and being as precise as possible. If I recall...mine is 15x20? Unusually large for a house my size, from what I've seen (though not rare).

Default Master

We just found a great rental in Fishhawk & the master is huge. In fact, most of the homes we looked at had large masters (which I love). That being said, it may be difficult to find a rental in a nice area, with a large master, for under $1300...

Hint: dont look at a ghetto home or tenement house if you want a decent sized master bedroom
