For a lot of us, it is...but even if you don't like it...why come on here, create a username "Not Liking FL" and then complain all the time?

I love this place...I know it's not perfect, and I'll say so when it's appropriate....but to just bellyache all the time? Why? Wouldn't your energy be better spent trying to find the good than the bad?

And how is anyone supposed to take you seriously with your username? It's obvious that you don't like it here just from what you choose to call yourself.

I just don't get it. Almost all of your posts regarding Tampa and Florida are Negative. Even your Forum name is "Not_Liking_FL". What are you doing here and why haven't you left??? Why disparage the area if your not happy? just leave and find your perfect place and be done with it.

With that said, you really should be objective in your comments to others who are looking to live in the area.

Default Miami

I don't understand, based on the statistics, why Miami is not number one. It has a lot of cloudy days (which is kind of a silly statistic because most of the cloudy days in Florida are ALSO sunny days at different times, hence the bay area is both the sunshine capital of Florida and the lightning capital of North America). Miami's crime is higher and so is unemployment.

Maybe it's more stressful in Florida because there aren't enough cloudy days to keep the sun from beating down as much?

I really think it's more to do with the hard hit Tampa took from the housing bubble and all the trickle down effect it had around here...otherwise Tampa is so not a stressful place compared to other metro areas!!
