I meant to comment earlier - I got to see Saturday's game agains the Yanks because I recorded it...was super excited when Myers hit the grand slam...and so disappointed that two unearned runs from walks helped give the Yanks the win. Of course I missed Sunday's game when they beat NY.

Nice win by the Rays.....good pitching, good relief. Some good defense. Good turnout - albeit half of the crowd seemed to be Tiger fans.

Yes good win. I was born in Detroit. Always a loyal fan. Rays are the team though. Beat the Tigers and they do it with such a low-low-low roster salary Goes to show you that money and contracts do not always guarantee performance/results!!! The Rays spend way less than the Tigers and they totally own them and have won an equal number of games this season (so far today). To be honest, I would rather see the Rays go all the way instead of the Tigers. Reason is we can understand if the Rays fall short of a World Series win because there really was no hype for them to be there this year anyway. The Tigers on the other hand??? LOL. All the money$$$ they have spent and all the hype...if they end up there, they will likely lose and it will not make sense yet again.

Ok,ok...I need to wrap this up the best I can...here goes:

GO RAYS from a loyal TIGER FAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Go baby go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Tigers mgt. sucks (Leyland mostly).

Wow I never saw a classy post like yours and I mean it!

In sports fans usually can't stand other teams and have not much good to say about the team that beat their team or they will have an excuse.
