looking forward to spending several hours in a nice air conditioned movie theater to see the latest Superman flick. I hope they keep those movie theaters frosty/chilly for those of us who despise the this FLA heat and humidity.

The heck with the theaters, just got my new Panasonic 60VT60 today to replace a 1.5 year old Panasonic 65vt30 Plasma.

Lucky you. I live in a home that has a common wall, so I can't jack up my theater sound system like you can. I wish I had enough disposable income to upgrade my HDTV every year, but I guess I have to suffer and live with what I have (measly little 50-incher).

I have several Muvico passes to use up. Air conditioned theater here I come. I hear that Superman movie is pretty good. Better take a sweatshirt - I hear they keep the theaters nice n' cold.

I don't like overly-AC'd places. Like the bank! Yuck, it's TOO freezing in there.

I will have to run it in for 300 hours in full screen mode until it is broke in then get it calibrated. Plasma sets sure put out heat so i will have a hot room.

Agreed! I traveled to Arizona for a softball tournament and remember the heat. You'd be sitting still not feeling it but as soon as you got up, you were soaked. Some of the players who lived there said the saying about frying an egg on the pavement was true...they've done it, lol
