There is also a record number of employers not paying living wages!!! You don't think that if these folks would be paid a livable wage they would "qualify" for food stamps?!

tell that to the county commissioners that approve these Amazon warehouse builds that pay min wage jobs at best, while living nice in their Bayshore homes (which no one can build near btw) lets not forget all the call centers at $12/hour either

The government makes it easy, two people living together can tell the agency they are living together, are going to get married but they buy and eat separately so that they don't have to use the other parties income in calculating the food stamps.
It seems the federal government wants to push to increase food stamps usage in any way they can.
