Just depends on how big of a dip we get in the upper levels. If it digs down deep enough we will get some colder weather. If the dip flattens out the brunt of the colder air will stay north of us and move east.

It's great here, isn't it. After having the best summer I can ever remember, this Fall is fantastic as well. Winters are great here compared to many other places, but that is when we find ourselves needing pants, sweatshirts and even a light coat on some days.......but not all. It all depends on cold air fronts from the north.
I am not sure how many people are aware, but if a cold air front moves down from the north through this area, it tends to get colder than if a warm front from the southwest pushes through our area. Laymen may not understand this highly scientific phenomenon.

Typically we don't start getting the nice low 80's during the day high 60's to low 70's until the first week of Nov on or around the 6th.
