LOL Probably. And the gentlemen let it go for cheaper than what he was asking . It was the E-330.

As for the cover PriusH8r suggested, I thought about it but went with this one from amazon Amazon.com: Classic Accessories 55-140-035101-EC Ravenna Grill Cover, Medium, Taupe: Patio, Lawn & Garden - it is awesome. If you decide to get it, make sure to get medium size for weber genesis grills; PERFECT fit.

I had a nice cover on my last Weber grill too but since I used the grill so much, putting it on and taking it off so often got old fast so I don't bother. Here in FL, that will only cut into my beer and beach time :-). I opted for a rotisserie kit instead that will open up new options when you're looking for something new beyond beer can chickens.
Speaking of which, this is now just perfect weather to fire up the grill and have a meal right outside.

Yep. It was an E-330, oh well.

I wonder what a cover will actually do for me since I plan on storing it in the back far corner of the lanai, where it will be completely under cover.

Oh, and I do much more than beercan chicken. From my one of my previous posts in the thread:

I'd probably make use of a rotisserie, and would probably add one to the grill I do buy.

No cover needed then, except to keep the envious visitors from pawing it.

Just looked at the Weber Genesis line at Lowes. Wow!

Now I can understand why everyone rants about them. The construction and materials are far better than the other brands.

Now if I can find a way to justify spending close to $1000 on a new grille…..I wonder if they ever go on sale?

It's funny this thread just got bumped.

I was able to score myself a grill. Thanks to the wonderful world of craigslist, I was able to get my hands on a Weber Genesis with the side burner for the princely sum of $300. It's the all-stainless version. It works great. But, I am going to give it an extremely thorough cleaning, and while I'm at it I am going to replace the burner tubes, and the flavorizer bars.

It came with two LP tanks, a cover, and the genuine Weber grill utensil set.

I was looking at CL, but most of what I have seen is older, smaller and non-stainless Webers.

It pays to be patient, so I'll just keep watching, or I might just go out and get one at Lowe's. Right now they're doing free delivery and assembly, which is nice.

Don't be afraid to ask for a discount on such a large purchase. I almost always get a 10% discount at a Lowe's in NC because I buy so much for my rentals. Can't guarantee you'll get a discount , but it doesn't hurt to ask.

Definitely. I always ask, and as we like to say around my house, "Everything is negotiable!"

FWIW, Lowe's in house charge accounts get 5% off anything, or 6 months same as cash. I have bought a number of things from them on the 6 month plan. I like it when someone else is carrying the paper…
