I guess by nitelife you mean bars there are Plenty of bars in the area along with other places to meet people like restaurants, bowling allies, church events,YMCA,movie theatres,flea markets,golf etc

Exactly. Some people seem to think that everyone who lives here doesn't go anywhere or do anything.
I can't make any specific recommendations since I am considerably younger than the OP (based on information given in previous posts). My tastes skew differently, I am sure.
