I think some posters are just jealous of NC's weather, fewer bugs, less traffic, better economy in the metro areas, nicer people, mountains, beaches, etc. They made a poor choice in picking a rundown backwater town to live and now they come on the internet to try and put better places down. It's sad really.

Sure is ... it's called grasping at straws.

Default FL coast weather

I say the same thing everytime we are asked. Living in the Tampa Bay area, you embrace the year round outdoor activities. Grew up in CT and spent 15 years in Chicago. No weeks of gray weather and gloom. We use our air conditioner mid May to mid Sept. Otherwise windows are open. Heat pump maybe a week in the winter. It is typically 90-92 each day in the summer. Yes it is humid, but I do lawn work in the evening when the ocean breeze kicks in. I garden all year long. Ride our bikes all year round. Can't say any of that when we lived up North.

Just insane with the dewpoints and humidity this weekend. I was sweating like a dog doing work in the yard. Even with cooler water temps it felt like summer. I don't mind 80 for a high, just not this time of year with dewpoints near 70.

You will find out. Can't wait for you to feel a true reverse west windflow during the summer. Today was bad, but nothing compared to what is coming in June.

It's coming in a few days. Would love to see a high around 48 after this hot crap.
