I've been reading about additional $180/month on top of HOA/CDD fees for lawn maintenance. Is this true?

Ask your realtor/ listing agent for specific house you are looking for. Contact HOA and ask them. It might differ from subcommunity to subcommunity within Mirabay

We were told that in the maintenance free sections there was an additional $180/month fee.

If you are talking about Bay Breeze, we live there. The Bay Breeze resident HOA fee is now $197.00 per month which covers:
  • lawn cutting, fertilizing, etc.
  • shrub trimming, bugs, etc.
  • irrigation
  • your water inside and outside (the community is on one meter; no houses in Bay Breeze are individually metered)
I think the 197 per month is a great value. I had many months where my yard maintenance and water expenses were much higher when we lived in Powder Springs (NW of Atlanta).

If you have any questions and would like to discuss them on the phone, please PM me.
