Since January my landlord in Pinellas Park (Pinellas County) has been sending me notices. First, I was to move Feb. 19th since they are not renewing my lease- I've lived here two years. Now since I haven't moved they sent me new notice that I have to pay a $24 rent increase, plus $100 Month-to-Month premium, and this has to be done within 24 hours!!! Isn't there a law stating they have to give more than 1 day notice?

If they have been sending you notices to quit since January and you have not moved out, and you have not got a contract, you are not in a great position. You may have to pay the rent if you want to stay, but insist on a contract, and if not, you should give them 30 days notice to quit, which you are entitled to under a month to month contract.
It does sound like the landlord wants to remove a tenant though, so maybe you should start looking for a better landlord. Sorry for your stress.

The thing that makes me mad about landlords for the most part is all they care about is the rent, mine called me this month on the due date to see where it was, I certified mailed it and she was not home to get it, so instead of being nice about it she said you expect things to work like I expect the rent on time, and I said to her it is at the post office they tryed to deliver it to you but you were not home. She said nothing and hung up. I certify it to her every month, meanwhile when we moved in the house was disgusting the pool was dark green, when we said something she said get a pool service at your expense. I have been without air conditioing and heat for 6 weeks, she does not return calls, to see what is up with it. I know there are bad tenants but a lot of landlords suck.
