The Howard Frankland Bridge is a disaster heading northbound between 4:00 P.M. - 7:00 P. M. on the weekdays.
You wouldnt need to take 19 and wouldnt have any tolls on the Veteran's going to /from Westchase to St Pete.

Tampa Rd to McMullen Booth to Roosevelt to 4th St.
Or
Tampa Rd to Veteran's or Tampa Rd to Memorial/Independence to Veteran's to the bridge.

I have an account just before the Belleair Beach Causeway on W Bay Dr. I have an 8 am appointment once every week. I leave my house in Brandon at 7am each time so as to make it there at 8. Where you live makes all the difference to one's sanity.

If you work in St Pete then live in St Pete as that commute from Tampa everyday is inconvenient and stressfull. Zillow is a good resource for finding what you need apartmentwise =

Nothing wrong with Westchase at all. Its a nice community. But dont let people fool you on commute times. That bridge is NO JOKE... Pal Harbor is a fine choice. May be a few more miles in travel but you will escape the gridlock at least. 19 can be a bear too so consider McMullen. You can cross over to Palm Harbor anywhere up to Tampa rd. The Palm Harbor schools seem to get a good rep. I cant speak personally, but hear good things.
