Found out the beaches are basically open today legally due to private / public beach issues. People were all walking and practicing social distancing. If you walk on wet sand you're legal technically, cops can still come and bother you, but it seems they are fairly lax as long as people are keeping distance.

Update 4/19:

Some things that I've done in the past few weeks (with 1 or 2 family members, or solo)

1. Drive out towards and hike at Circle B Bar Reserve in Lakeland, then drive/brief walk Downtown Bartow
2. Morning long drive down to and around Cape Coral, then back up and jogging along Punta Gorda Waterfront
3. Late afternoon walk through Davis Islands, drive through Downtown Tampa and Ybor City
4. Aside from extensive running/walking around my neighborhood: walking and visiting the following Manatee County parks: East Bradenton Park, Lincoln Park, Bradenton Riverwalk, Palmetto Waterfront, Palmetto Estuary Preserve, Buffalo Creek Park, Perico Preserve, Neal Preserve, Nathan Benderson Park, Bennett Park, Fort Hamer Park, Rye Preserve, Creekwood Park, Ola Mae Sims Park, Emerson Point Preserve, Felts Audubon Preserve. Hillsborough (before they closed theirs) Fish Hawk Park and Stephen J Wortham Park and Preserve, and several morning runs on the southern extension of the Pinellas Trail on the Skyway Bridge : )
5. Morning drive yesterday, walking at Weedon Island Preserve, and drive through/brief walk of DT Safety Harbor

Anyways-it's been weird-but on a certain level the lack of distraction from commuting, daily hubbub and events, etc. has me being as active as ever and seeing a lot of new aspects of this area.
