Join a co-ed beer league sports team. soccer, volleyball, softball, etc. you’ll meet people easily.

If you’re into cigars, go to cigar lounges and mingle. That one isn’t my scene, but I know people who enjoy those, and they meet tons of people there.

When I read OP's request, I am reminded of the woman in Phoenix who accidentally invited a stranger for Thanksgiving and they've now celebrated seven Thanksgivings together.

OP, you are a good person!

Where you at ? If your close by I’ll share some coffee with you, I don’t have a whole turkey, got some frozen we could batter it up and fry it, and thats better than baked. We could cook something, its easy to make a good meal, even spam taste great! You ever tried spam and egg on a homemade biscuit? I was considering having a meal with some homeless people but they turned out to be labeled wrong. I can’t imagine being homeless anytime its near or below freezing cold, my feet would not like that at all. While we are having a discussion, have you ever grown jalapeño peppers and battered them and fried them? Not talking about poppers, I mean slice them up, put the slices in egg or milk or egg and milk, then toss them into flour or cornmeal, and then fry to golden brown. They are absolutely delicious!

Smokey, I wish you to send you massive ((HUGS)). Get outside and walk in nature and see all the little things that make up this world. I am sorry you are in a dark place, as it sounds like it. Your beautiful home and picture you shared is lovely along with your meal. I hope the sun is shining where you are to brighten your spirits.

You must be like me, I have a hard time finding which threads I responded to. There should be a way to quickly see replies to responses, don’t ask me how, I’m forum dumb! I’d still share that coffee, fry turkey, I’d rather be with that cute gal on the bloodmobile though, when I opened that door and seen her it was immediate happiness, she must have sensed my liking for her, her being attractive to me, because I got two surprises. Can women sense when a guy likes them? I didn’t flirt or nothing but she was a total babe! Way to young for me but she would be dinner if she was you asking for turkey sqealing alone. Sorry pal, I try to be nice but that pretty smile she had got the best of me

I think you all are being trolled lol…

Ignores every single suggestion that was made and then simply puts a generic picture of a meal for one and people are still trying to offer suggestions lol. It’s nice to see so many thoughtful posts nonetheless.

bmw335xi I tried, I even was willing to fry turkey, and its delicious. If you’ve never tried it give it a go sometime, turkey breast soaked in buttermilk is better I guess but milk & egg then flour and just fry it like chicken, add a little salt its totally delicious. I do love fried chicken, I actually like almost anything fried. Try deep fried bacon too, its really good

Well, I think Hokie's reply was after Thanksgiving. But I do appreciate all the replies.

here's to being grateful, IF op is not trolling and depressed or whatever most of the suggestions would be completely useless so the fact that they were ignored is not in the least surprising

Why would they be useless? He’s asking for a social life. I suggested adult league sports. Physical activity is one of the top ways to deal with depression, AND it comes with the added bonus of creating friendships.
