Hello! My friend and I both females age 28 will be in st pete in june and looking to find out what there is to do at night...looking for info on different night clubs/bars and what type and hours....we will be there a thurs thru mon...thanks!

On the beach (john's pass) is Gators all the locals love it. Thurs girls night
If you want a little more upscale clearwater (like 15min away)
The venue, flo longue, theres a little strip of clubs on ulmerton

Plush- nightclub
The Indepednet- imported beer bar, very hip, grea tplae to shoot the breeze and play darts, can sit outside on sidewalk
Bourbon St- College bar with mixed crowd, good beer selection, hopping on the weekends with DJ
The Garden/Lobby Martini Bar- restuarant and lougne with live jazz outside on weekend
Central Cigars- Have a mojito and cigar in the best cigar bar in Tampa Bay
The Emerald- dive bar, now a haven for the hip, grea tlive music
Tavern at Bayboro- local/college bar, live music on Thursday and Friday night
The Garage- alternative crowd, loud music, cheap drinks
Mastrys- the ultimate old man dive bar
The Pelican- used to be a dive bar, now hip, great jukebox, cheaper beers
place below Ceviches- flamenco dancing, latin music, tapas
Globe Coffee Shop- Eclectic coffee shop, open very late
Fresco's- live music place at base of pier
Moon Under Water- British-style pub on Beach Dr.
State Theatre/Janus Landing- incredible live music venues-, check schedule to see who's playing
Rare Olive- live music bar

Angler's list is pretty thorough. I'd reiterate Ceviche's and the downstairs part - it's pretty cool but it gets crowded and be something of a cougar den. Rare Olive is a favorite of mine and I'm also 28. The Garden is great because it has a decent little night club inside and jazz right outside - you can't go wrong. And then Push is where you might end the night - it has a chic rooftop bar with a view, a solid dance club on the second floor, and a laid back bar scene on the ground floor. They've had some serious DJs spin there.
