Hi. I'm looking for somewhere to stay with my 2 kids in some part of FL, but undecided...

I hope u can help me out, am a single mother with 2 boys and i will be looking for good elementary schools...

My biggest worry is the weather the storms, and hurricanes so am trying to avoid that...

In addtion to, I wonder how I get help or assistance because I have no job ,my job recently moved and that's one the reason I need to moved, I have low income..
.
So I was wondering what part of FL town can I go To , to get low income Housing, with good weather and nice schools for my kids. Until I find work there and get stable. and I hope they have jobs there.

If so where do I go to sign up!!

All parts of Florida are vulnerable to bad storms and hurricanes.

As for jobs, unemployment here is terrible, I wouldn't come here without a job lined up and several months worth of savings.

Good luck to you.

Go with Jax. At least you'll have Georgia to venture into to look for work. Jacksonville gets just a little frost in the winters and in the summers, while can get hot, it can be consistently breezy. Nice college town, too...for your boys. I'm sure they'll prefer the beaches there to the ones on the western coast of FL. When it comes to jobs in Florida you have to look at it like picking your poison. In the mean time I would research some good work from home opportunities.
