I wish to not have any other communication with you. Today should have never happened. If anyone in that room should have been angry, it should have been me. I maintain my posture in a professional way. The meeting was just to start confrontation, and I am not that type of person

During my 5 months of employment, I went out of pocket to buy materials for the classroom and went to training(s) that I was not reimbursed for. Per the *** Handbook, Pre-K teachers are to have rooms, mileage, and meals covered. I still have an email where you stated that these things will be covered. Although the training in *** was a "Make-up" training, I still was to be allowed funding. I came out of pocket with all the training(s). I was then given a bogus check for the training in *** that bounced two times the day it was given. Even through all of that, I remained professional because I do not educate for the money. I educate because it is a career that I enjoy doing.

Withholding an employee check for any matter is a major lawsuit in ALL 50 states per the Society of Human Resource Management, The Fair Labor Standards Act, and the Georgia Department of Labor. I was also not practicing theft by taken. Those items were mine and came from my expense. When you get a chance, please send me the inventory list. I did not take anything of yours.

I have any ill-intent towards you. I just wish to quit and focus more on my career and education in teaching. I also do not wish to get into any legal matters because it is certainly uncalled for.

Again, Thanks for the experience and I wish you the best.

(I CAN GET LOCATIONS AND ABBREVIATE FOR CONFIDENTIALITY.)

You sent that as an e-mail? You should have had someone proof it for you.

I also can't believe you contacted the parents. Are you nuts!

Noting in this E-mail is grammatically incorrect and only one parent that is a friend of mine

The pictures were mine. I took them and printed those out. I decided to place them up. Not the school.
Sorry, you're wrong about the law. There was nothing illegal about requiring you to come in person and get the check from her. The picture were not yours, it makes no difference whatsoever if you took them and printed them with your own camera, the pictures themselves were school property. You are wrong, you just are.

I am not against you, but I can tell you from experience that you lack the diplomacy to be a public school teacher, you're not mentally flexible enough to be a public school teacher, and your skin is much too thin to be a public school teacher.

The email is full of errors! If you don't believe me take it to your college and ask someone in the writing center to proof it for you. Again, I'm just a reading specialist/SPED teacher so what do I know?

No, releasing my payroll meant that she will not realease through direct deposit on friday. She just wanted to meet with me from what I believed to be confrontation

"I have any ill-intent towards you."

"I also do not wish to get into any legal matters because it is certainly uncalled for"

"I was also not practicing theft by taken."

"I came out of pocket with all the training(s)."

Above are all examples of sentences that have either direct typos or otherwise poorly formed.

I'm on my phone right now. I'll see if I can do it from my tablet, later. You should try reading it out loud to yourself, exactly as written, and see if it sounds correct. Remember to pause at all punctuation, you used too much in some places and none in others where you should have. You're even missing a period at the end of a paragraph. You also have word choice errors among other issues.

Seriously?????? I am not a fan of people playing grammar police on the internet because it is a casual/recreation communication venue, so it is a little unfair to judge it by normal standards. Plus, my own writing leaves much to be desired most time, but this changes the story.

Again, seriously? Do you honestly not see the errors? If you really do want to be a teacher the first thing you need to do is attend a remedial writing class.

There is no law stating that the last check has to be delivered in any particular fashion whatsoever. Direct deposit is a benefit, not a legal requirement, nor is it a legal requirement to be paid on Friday. My last checks were often sent through regular mail even though when I was working there it was direct deposit. Nothing illegal about it.

The legal requirement for "withholding a check" is that the employer refuses to give it to you under any circumstances ever, this is not your situation.
