Your credentials file at your university where you completed your teacher program. Unless it has been less than 10 or 15 years and NET should have them

The NYSED Office of Teaching does not maintain exam scores. The scores are sent to the office electronically and linked with the applicants account for purposes of certification. Beyond that, copies of scores must be obtained from the testing company and I believe they only retain them for a certain number of years. Also, regulations are constantly changing so often, old test scores aren't valid for new certification.

I too took the NTE's in 1992. I have my scores but I am wondering if the state would still recognize these scores? I have never had a teacher certification as I am an Audiologist but I would like to pursue a second career now. Any idea who to contact? thanks!

drie- I would contact the state certification office as your first step. After all, they would be the ones deciding on your certification.

I took the NTEs in 1993 and had to take 6 Praxis tests in 2006 because I didn't have my NTE scores and no way to get them, and my new state wouldn't have taken them anyway. I found out by contacting the state's certification unit.

Graduated w M.Ed 2004 special education K-12, passed Praxis special ed test, but Failed the 3 Basic skills tests 4 times by -3 points. Worked years on emergency certification. Have a New Jersey Certication and worked in NJ.
Issue: in 2009-2013 Pennsylvania lower Praxis cut off scores. Thus, making eligible for my PA license and Instructioal I.

Question
How or can I be grandfathered in for my PA certification based on earlier Praxis score.

My graduated school where I completed my teacher prep program. Has never submitted my PDE 338 for for certification. What do I need to do? Its be 10 years and the run around.

Any suggestions
